Pumpkin Extravanganza

Today has been an obnoxious day for many reasons...sad that it should be so annoying already, because I've only been awake for about 5 hours now. Even sadder, it is Halloween, and isn't it some kind of rule that no one should have a bummer of a day on Halloween?

Here are some pictures from this week's FHE to help rekindle the festive, happy thoughts I should be having on this glorious, costume-wearing, spirit-celebrating, candy-getting day.

Like every typical Mormon family on the Monday night before Halloween, we carved pumpkins...for each others' apartments.

Mask of Zorro

Apt 185 Lovin Pumpkin...and Anthony's arm brandishing a knife.

a prime example of apt 185 lovin, which inspired our pumpkin

Very standard BYU pumpkin.
Funny because neither of the guys that carved it actually go to BYU...haha

Aww this was the guys' gift to our apartment...
a pumpkin carved with the likeness of Pierre, our pet fish,
as well as his name on the side.

Oh Halloween...how I love you.

Looks good! We carved ours for FHE, but due to the crazy TX weather, it was covered in furry mold by Halloween :(
